- The Management Information Systems concentration is offered through the Department of Informatics, whose mission is creating individuals with the skills, knowledge, and creativity to succeed in the 21st century.
- Fort Hays State University is pleased to offer a concentration in the Masters of Liberal Studies (MLS) in Management Information Systems.
- This concentration includes developing a mastery of Management Information Systems theory, processes, and applications. Students may also mix Computer Networking, Web Development, Information Assurance, Computer Science, or Masters of Business Administration courses when customizing their plan of study (with the approval of the student's advisor).
- All required courses are offered through distance learning and do not require campus visits.
- The Masters of Liberal Studies is a 31-hour interdisciplinary graduate program that is offered on campus and online.
- It consists of a 10-hour IDS core, a 15-hour MIS core (including the culminating project) and 6 hours of electives.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related subject from a recognized university.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required on a 4.0 scale to be eligible for the program.
Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
