Southeastern's Educational Leadership program provides an essential foundation for school administrators to assume the role of instructional leaders for effective school improvement. The cohort-based program features a sequential combination of seminars that help students develop an understanding of effective school leadership.
The Master's degree in Educational Leadership is designed to provide the essential foundation for school administrators to assume the role of instructional leaders for effective school improvement. The program meets standards set by the National Policy Board and ELCC standards. Southeastern Louisiana University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and meets the?Educational Leadership certification requirements?of the?Louisiana State Department of Education.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must have a bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education completed
- Official transcripts should contain the subjects taken and grade information
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
- Submit passing scores in Praxis content exam in the area of certification
- Applicants have to complete an interview
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 550 in PBT; minimum 80 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum 100
