Our program prepares you for licensure and gives you the tools you?ll need to provide patients with counseling, crisis intervention and access to social welfare and community resources.You?ll act as a crucial link between patients and their caregivers, ensuring that they are receiving proper attention. Our curriculum emphasizes interprofessional education to familiarize you with a team-based health care approach while also giving you the freedom to tailor your degree to your specialty.During your field education experiences, you complete 1,000 hours of professional development in environments such as substance abuse treatment centers, mental health clinics, schools and communities for elder care. Academic Requirements:

  • Applicants must have a bachelors degree from an accredited university
  • Submit all secondary school, college and university transcripts
  • Official transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency
  • Applicant must have a GPA of minimum 3.0 or equivalent 
  • Applicant must have completed at least 20 credits in liberal arts
  • Submit an autobiographical statement describing reasons for pursuing the course
  • Submit 2 letters of recommendation
  • Submit resume
  • Submit English Language Proficiency test scores

English Language Requirements:

  • TOEFL: minimum 90 in iBT; 233 in CBT; 575 in PBT
  • IELTS: minimum 6.5
