Seton Hill?s Master of Arts in Special Education Program provides educators with the instruction and technological skills required to understand their students and adjust to their learning needs.

The School of Education at Seton Hill University offers a special?Autism Endorsement Program. These graduate-level courses?in autism can be?taken on their own or added to Seton Hill?s master?s programs in special education and elementary/middle level education. Added to a master?s program, it will prepare you to add the Pennsylvania Department of Education?s Autism Spectrum Disorders Endorsement to your professional credentials.


Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Requirements:

  • Must have completed a bachelors degree from an accredited university
  • Submit official transcripts from all previous institution that you have attended
  • Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in undergraduate coursework
  • Applicant must have completed Introduction to Special Education, SED 205 or equivalent.
  • A course by course evaluation from WES must be submitted
  • Submit letters of  recommendation from a qualified person who is familiar with your academic background
  • Submit a personal statement explaining how the course will help you in accomplsihing your professional goals
  • Submit your current resume
  • Submit English Language Proficiency test requirements

English Language Requirements:

  • TOEFL: minimum score of 100
  • IELTS: minimum score of 7.5
  • Duolingo: minimum score of 125
