Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in music or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- A GPA of at least 3.25/4.0 is required to be eligible for the program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Students must complete an undergraduate degree with first-class in a relevant field from a highly ranked university in India.
- Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
Scores Required

- Essay: A narrative essay that considers a current issue facing the field of music education in K-12 schools in the United States (ideally between 5-10 pages in length).
- Video: A 35-45 minute Music Teaching video (including a lesson plan or narrative description including lesson objectives and relevant contextual information).
- ELP Scores: Students have to submit their English language proficiency scores like IELTS, TOEFL, or other test scores.
