Field of Study:
$24,662/Yr
The Biomedical Engineering Department at The College of New Jersey provides an integrative and design-based education that spans all scales of human physiology and medical devices. Graduates are prepared to advance biomedical knowledge and technology through critical and innovative thinking for the betterment of human health and society, locally and globally.
Biomedical Engineering Facilities
The laboratories form an integral part of the curriculum, providing an environment where students reinforce their understanding of the fundamental principles of Biomedical Engineering and apply that knowledge in experimental analysis and problem-solving. Facilities range from instructional laboratories to general purpose labs for faculty and undergraduate student research. All are used in the undergraduate program. Many are also used for research and student projects.Along with engineering design, laboratories are critical in developing the work-oriented skills that are expected of a biomedical engineering graduate today. A partial list of laboratory facilities maintained by the Biomedical Engineering Program is shown on the right. You can see a brief description and a list of equipment available in each laboratory by clicking on the appropriate link.
