The University of Oregon’s Asian Studies Program is an interdisciplinary instructional component of the College of Arts and Sciences. The program emphasizes study in Asian languages, history, society and culture, art and literature, politics, and economics. Academic Eligibility:
- Students who have no justification for a waiver must score the minimum required score in TOEFL iBT, IELTS.
- Three letters of recommendation, a statement of purpose, and unofficial transcripts (via on online application).
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited four-year U.S. college or university OR hold an equivalent credential from a qualifying international institution.
- Students should have an average high school academic performance of at least 60 out of 100.
- Students need to meet the University of Oregon's minimum English proficiency requirements for admission.
