As a student pursuing your master's degree in biology, you will have two options.
- Thesis ? a minimum of 30 semester credit hours, including six semester credit hours for thesis.
- Professional paper ? 36 semester credit hours, including three semester credit hours for professional paper and six semester credit hours of education or equivalent coursework as approved by an advisory committee.

Academic Requirements:
- Applicant must have a bachelors degree in a relevant subject
- Submit official transcripts of all the institution attended earlier
- Applicant must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA in the last 60 hrs of undergraduate and 3.0 GPA overall
- Submit a statement of purpose of 1-2 pages describing your reasons for pursuing graduate work, background experience and professional goals
- Submit three letters of recommendation from persons familiar with your academic capabilities
