Accommodation is shared and it is expensive. The average rent to be paid if you stay out is 250$ per month.
I was attracted to the University of Dayton based on both its academic reputation as well as knowing several others from my high school whom I respected attending here ahead of me. I have found opportunities for personal growth and development not only academically, but also to expand beyond the classroom knowledge. Students can opt for on-campus or off-campus housing depending on their preferences. Average monthly expenses including rent, utilities and groceries will come to $400-500. Off-campus housing is a relatively cheap option, but the daily commute to the university can sometimes be a bit difficult.
The alumni network is great, the university is known for its excellence in research. It works in close coordination with engineering companies so faculty are always involved in cutting-edge projects.
I loved the campus, class size, community. Everything was just perfect from my first visit until graduation. It was also close to home, but far enough that my parents wouldn't stop by too much. There's just a sense of home at UD.
