They gather data to estimate the relationships among the various aspects of the economy. Based on these analyses, economists predict how people and companies will respond to changes in policies and external forces. These predictions, in turn, help guide private and public decision makers to form appropriate policies.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Acamedic Requirements:
- High school or secondary school official transcripts of the final four years (9 to 12) should be sent to Ohio State
- SAT or ACT scores should be submitted (Optional for 2023 admissions)
- Recommendation from a teacher or counsellor (optional)
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL (IBT): minimum 79 required
- IELTS or IELTS indicator: minimum 6.5 required
- ACT: minimum 21 score on the English section
- SAT: minimum 27 required on the reading section
- Duolingo: minimum 105 required
