Bachelor of Business Administration with Emphasis in International Business - Finance is a joint degree program offered by the College of Arts and Science and the Trulaske College of Business. The program incorporates foreign language, geographic region and cultural environment courses with core and international business courses.
Through the study of finance, students learn to independently analyze security markets, understand the basic valuation techniques and use their knowledge to make investment decisions. In addition, students learn basic theoretical concepts in corporate finance and their application to corporate financing and investment decisions. Course work focuses on the areas of investments, portfolio management, real estate appraisal, financial institutions and corporate finance.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Complete 13 units of coursework in four units of Mathematics, three units of science, three units of social studies, two units of languages and one unit of Fine Arts
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a grade of 4.0 or a GPA of 3.5 on a scale of 5.0
- Submit academic transcripts of all the previous education
- SAT/ACT scores are required for scholarship considerations
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 550 with no score below 52 in PBT; minimum 79 with no section score below 17 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5 with no section score below 6.0
