Students who are studying French, Spanish, German, Italian or Russian may wish to select European studies as their emphasis area. The student examines the politics, culture, history and geography of the European continent, with a focus on the country whose native language is being studied by the student. Given the multidisciplinary approach to this degree, students take courses that are specifically geared to a better understanding of the culture, history, and language of a given country, as well as a better understanding of the entire continent of Europe.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Complete 13 units of coursework in four units of Mathematics, three units of science, three units of social studies, two units of languages and one unit of Fine Arts
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a grade of 4.0 or a GPA of 3.5 on a scale of 5.0
- Submit academic transcripts of all the previous education
- SAT/ACT scores are required for scholarship considerations
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 550 with no score below 52 in PBT; minimum 79 with no section score below 17 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5 with no section score below 6.0
