Bachelor of Science [B.S] (Biological Engineering)

The curriculum encompasses basic sciences, social and behavioral sciences, humanities and fine arts, engineering sciences and topics, and program core courses. The core courses cover topics of biological engineering principles and design. In a capstone design course, each student completes a design project under the direction of a faculty advisor. Technical electives allow students to place emphasis on biomedical, bioprocess or bioenvironmental engineering.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Complete 13 units of coursework in four units of Mathematics, three units of science, three units of social studies, two units of languages and one unit of Fine Arts
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a grade of 4.0 or a GPA of 3.5 on a scale of 5.0
- Submit academic transcripts of all the previous education
- SAT/ACT scores are required for scholarship considerations
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 550 with no score below 52 in PBT; minimum 79 with no section score below 17 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5 with no section score below 6.0
