Roosevelt University is a private non-profit organization that was established in 1945 and has campuses across Chicago, Illinois, and Schaumburg.

Roosevelt University offers more than 40 undergraduate and graduate programs, for which thousands of applications are received each academic year.

Roosevelt University International Admissions

While applying at Roosevelt University, international applicants are required to fulfill the following requirements based upon their level of study.

• Application fee of $25 for undergraduate programs.
• Application fee of $40 for graduate programs.
• Application fee of $100 for Performing Arts programs.
• Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Proof of English proficiency for non-native English speakers.

Roosevelt University English Proficiency Test Requirement

International applicants need to prove proficiency in the English language if they are non-native English speakers by submitting scores of tests like TOEFL or IELTS.

Students with scores below the TOEFL or IELTS laid out above are required to qualify the English Language Placement Exam. In light of the ELP test results, students might be required to take one to three (1-3) semesters of language courses preceding the beginning of degree courses.

Visa Process for International Students

International students applying as an F-1 student must submit the following additional documents in order to receive the Form I-20:

• A photocopy of the passport information page
• Evidence of funds to cover the first year’s tuition, fees, housing and living expenses (books, supplies, insurance, personal items) in the form of bank statements or a letter from the bank
• Affidavit of Support form (if the finances you will be using belong to a parent or other relative)
• Complete the I-20 and pay the Sevis I-901 fee
• Applicants then need to apply for the F1 or J-1 Visa. Submit the form and pay the application fee.
• Schedule and attend the Visa interview

Roosevelt University Undergraduate Admissions

Roosevelt University offers more than 70 undergraduate courses for the applicants. The basic admission process for the courses is the same other than the School of Pharmacy.

Roosevelt University Graduate Admissions

Roosevelt University offers more than 100 graduate courses to all the applicants.

Where to apply: Most of the graduate programs require the applicants to visit the respective course page to apply online. However, Pharm D applicants need to apply via PharmCAS.

Admission Requirements: Applicants must provide the following documents at the time of admission:

• Official Transcripts: Detailed (Course-by-Course) Evaluation
• English Language Proficiency: All international students and individuals who completed a degree program outside the United States are required to meet this requirement.

Supporting Documents: Most of the graduate programs require the applicants to submit common supporting documents, such as Essay, three letters of recommendation/committee evaluation, and Official Transcripts.
