A student graduating with this option should have mastered the basic skills appropriate for the design, development, manufacturing and sale of consumer products. Students should enter the field at the middle-management level. The breadth of preparation in the design option provides a broad foundation from which to build and progress.
GPA Requirements
The GPA requirement for transfer students who plan to major in technology/design option, is the same as that for admission to Eastern, a 2.00 cumulative GPA in all college-level course work.
Graduation from the Technology/Design Program requires a 2.50 cumulative GPA in all departmental course work.
Graduation from the university requires a 2.00 cumulative GPA for Eastern Washington University course work, other than the major courses.
