  • The major objective of the Master of Business Administration program is to develop the student’s analytical skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities and to provide the basic knowledge needed for the solution of business problems.
  • Students are registered for three courses each fall and spring semester (one during the day over the full semester, one during the evening in the first 8-week term, and one during the evening in the second 8-week term).
  • In addition, students will be registered for a one-hour orientation course during the first week of the first semester they are enrolled.
  • Students with academic/personal requests for completing the program in 1.5 years (taking courses over the summer) or taking courses only in the evening may request a change to the academic plan to be approved by the MBA Director. Full-Time MBA students may also submit a request to take some courses online.
  • In addition to the regular course load, students must also fulfill a 200-hour work experience requirement prior to program completion. Most students use the summer between their fourth and fifth year to complete this requirement by obtaining an internship (either paid or unpaid), or another form of professional employment.
