Bachelor of Science [B.S] [Entrepreneurship] From Western Kentucky University

Entrepreneurial students are not only prepared to operate a business, they are trained to innovate within existing organizations to increase productivity and performance. Students are encouraged to develop creative and impactful solutions by thinking critically about problems relevant to a variety of organizations, and continually practice and hone these skills through hands-on engagement in real-world exercises and projects.

The Entrepreneurship Major provides a solid understanding of entrepreneurial concepts while allowing substantial flexibility.  Required classes include Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Marketing, Entrepreneurial Finance, New Venture Business Planning, Ethics and Critical Thinking, and Small Business Analysis & Policy. 

Students must also take two entrepreneurial electives and two approved electives in consultation with their advisor to customize their entrepreneurial interest area.  One elective, the Entrepreneurship Student Lab, exists in which senior students work in a lab environment helping area entrepreneurs, other students, and entities across campus.  Advisors provide guidance and assistance in helping each student choose electives based upon career objectives.
