Simmons University Admission Deadlines

The application deadline for domestic and international applicants is the same. Those who apply before the deadline are granted a discount worth 30USD on the application fee. Candidates can reach to the admission counselor for questions via email and stick to the deadlines.

Simmons University International Admissions

International applicants can apply through the Common Application portal. The university assigns an admission counselor for the international applicants who assist them throughout the process. They can contact the counselor through Skype, phone calls, or email. Students can submit the transcripts either online or via email. The Simmons Admission Committee reviews the application and continues with the selection process. The interview part of the admission process is optional, it is recommended but not mandatory.

The application requirements are the same for international and domestic applicants except for some additional requirements.

Visa Process for International Students

Once the application is accepted the university sends an acceptance letter along with I-20 Form. Applicants must apply for an F-1 student visa on receiving the form and pay the SEVIS fees. Once the payment is done, it's time they must schedule their interview with the U.S. Embassy and bring along the following documents at the time of interview:

Simmons University Undergraduate Admission

The undergraduate application is free if the candidate chooses to apply through one of the three online portals. The Simmons University Application offers institutional-specific applications. The university also accepts printed applications and candidates must print the form, fill it out, and email it to the university. The Simmons Admission Committee evaluates the application and recommends an interview with the admission team.

Simmons University offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degree programs in more than 20 areas of study. Applications are accepted online however those who are applying for the master’s program can email a hard copy of the application to the admission selection commission.

There are three application portal students can choose to fill up the application form. The application fees are the same for all undergraduate programs, while each graduate program has different non-refundable application fees. The Simmons University Admission committee reviews the application and grants admission based on that.

Overview

Nursing program is spectacular and the location is the best. It's located in Boston and has a bunch of world-class hospitals right down the road. Plus, it's the city and there is so much to do and see.
