I choose this college as FIT is globally celebrated as an institution where students, scholars, and teachers cross traditional disciplinary boundaries to stimulate innovation, partner with creative industries worldwide, and develop innovative design and business solutions. My GPA was 7, and I had to submit a common application along with a fee of $50.

The FIT Entrepreneurship program aims to address the real-life demands of today's marketplace. Throughout the world, and across the United States, new business creation by entrepreneurial, independent business owners is a major driver of economic growth.

Exams

By focusing on the three major goals, FIT will become stronger by conscious design and be known as a strategic organization—one that applies available resources to the greatest effect to achieve its vision. I had to submit my internet-based TOEFL score of 94 and also my SAT score of 1365. The documents required were my official transcripts, letters of recommendation, and a financial affidavit.

Students will work directly with key executives in fashion retailing, wholesaling and design, venture capitalists, and will have the opportunity in their capstone project to fully develop a business proposal for critique by renowned members of the entrepreneurship and venture communities.

Events

The FIT Student Activities Board exists in order to initiate and coordinate thought-provoking, educational, social, and cultural campus programming. SAB programs enhance the overall student experience outside of the classroom and cultivate a strong student community.

Fees

My annual expense for tuition and other stuff was around $34000. Federal Work-Study is awarded based upon financial need, timely FAFSA application, a request by the student on the FAFSA, and availability of FWS funds. FWS is not automatically renewed each year. Students will be paid twice a month for hours actually worked.

For their executive training programs, leading retailers are seeking more candidates who strive to create and innovate, candidates who are not afraid to think differently and solve new problems. And prominent designers have their eyes on college graduates who are comfortable managing the creative process and want to assert their "intrapreneurial" skills inside an existing corporate setting.

Hostel

Housing is available for students on campus this fall. The on-campus experience will be different than what you may have imagined, but we look forward to welcoming you to our community. We are making every effort to provide an enriching, enjoyable, and most importantly safe experience despite the challenges presented by this global pandemic. My room and board expenses were around $6000.
