Madison Review at Fordham University, Bronx | Collegedunia

Fordham is expensive but worth it

9.5 /10

Great professors, great location near the city. Beautiful campus and is not too big of a school, less than 10,000 students. Also, the students are all very motivated and driven creating a hardworking environment.

Course Curriculum :

It is very rigorous but at the same time very engaging. I am learning a lot about myself and my work ethic. The courses are very hands-on and with small classes, it's easy to stay involved and be connected with the teachers.

Exams :

SAT only, without the essay portion. No ACT or anything else. Scored around 1200 on the SAT the second time.

Placement :

Very good, most students have internships by sophomore year summer time which is earlier than other big state schools in my opinion. Most students end up getting jobs in Manhattan very very easily through connections.

Internship :

I think there are some available for students on campus. They really push students to go out and get internships on their own but also there are many helpful resources on campus to assist students in resumes and such.

Fees :

Most everything is included in your tuition, although the tuition is extremely expensive compared to other schools.

Examination Structure :

It differs based on which class you are in, but most classes have about 3 or 4 exams per semester and they are quite a large percentage of your final grade. All material leading up to these exams.

Faculty :

They are extremely helpful and never want to see students do anything less than successful. They create a very welcoming environment for all students and their great.
