Only two hours away from home, has a good CSD program. I had to pay a little fee to apply here, but it wasn't a lot! I also applied USF and gained admission, but ultimately chose UCF! I am very happy with my decision, especially after being here for a year and a half! The CSD program has welcomed me and I feel confident in my ability to thrive here.

Course Curriculum

8

A very good course curriculum.

Exams

This is the degree I need for my career! The degree is 120 credits, but the classes are very enjoyable. After undergrad, I do plan to go to Grad School, which requires that I take the GRE and get a good score! Otherwise, everyone can gain admission into this college, it's just a matter of thriving!

Placement

UCF holds career fairs and job fairs and hires almost all of the time! I am pretty sure the basic wage in the minimum wage - $8.46 in FL! I believe you do get a better chance of being hired if you are someone that gets work-study from FAFSA

Internship

I work at the UCF Center for Autism and I get paid minimum wage! The work environment is great and I feel at home. I work 10 hours a week as a student assistant, with many others with the same job!

Events

10

UCF celebrates almost everything! My favorite has to be football though!

Fees

My program is like $330 per credit hour! I currently have the Florida Bright Futures Medallion Scholarship and that covers almost all of my tuition! Other than that, I went through the Florida foster care system and I got a voucher for free tuition until I am 28 that really helped me out. If I didn't have that, I wouldn't be here!

Scholarship

Florida Bright Futures, UCF grant, Think 30 Scholarships helped me in financial part.

Examination Structure

Differs among professors! But usually, pretty chill and not stressful.

Faculty

Everyone is outstanding. I do very much enjoy going to class and learning everything I will need to become an SLP!

Hostel

I lived on campus my first year and it was very nice and convenient. I do prefer living in an off campus apartment, though. It makes me feel like more of an adult, rather than someone who funnels money to the college
