I chose this college because it is one of the biggest colleges in the nation. I believe that due to the size, there are more opportunities that lie within the classrooms and there is more diversity among the students.

Course Curriculum

9

I love the set up of my major. It provides a full overview of all the business operations. It also gives us real-world experiences by partnering with local businesses and working on their problems by coming up with innovative ideas.

Exams

I took the ACT and received a score of 24. Other than the ACT, there were not any additional tests needed to get into the university or program.

Placement

10

There are many emails sent to the student emails on jobs hiring in the area and as you near graduation, the school starts focusing on students who do not have a job offer in order for them to graduate with job placement. There are many career fairs held at the university and the companies that visit are huge Fortune 500 companies as well as small-medium size businesses,

Internship

I did not participate in a college provided internship. There are students who participate and the internship stipends depend on the company that the students work for. It can range from being unpaid to up to $1000 in reimbursements.

Events

10

There are events nearly every day on campus. Students are notified through a weekly email newsletter. If the student clicks on an event, it shows whether an RSVP is needed and a description of the event.

Fees

The fees for this university is based on credit hours. It is about $200 per credit hour and if the classes are lecture capture or online, there is an additional fee added for convenience. There are fees for parking if students are driving and wish to park on campus.

Scholarship

I applied for financial aid through the school and through FAFSA. During the semester, the university sends out a document of the financial aid I received and I am able to accept or decline the rewards.

Examination Structure

The exams are taken through the computer. There are multiple computer labs where testing is monitored in order to combat cheating. These testing centers are located on the main campus and regional campuses. There are few exams in my major as a lot of the projects are presentations.

Faculty

10

The faculty are very caring people. They genuinely care about the success of their students and provide many opportunities to improve themselves. A lot of them mentor students.

Hostel

9

I lived off campus with my parents. It was easier for me to drive to class than pay nearly $1000 each month for rent. Additionally, dorms and student apartments fill up quickly so there is rarely any open spots on campus that cause students to look for off-campus housing.
