I received a full ride and it was between here or university of Florida. However, I received more money from Emory so I decided to go there on top of that it is the ivy of the south so how could I give that up! There are many opportunities for students in Atlanta especially if you want to be in the medical field.
Exams :
I got a 1320 in SAT which was enough for bright futures in Florida. Additionally, I took multiple Advanced Placement classes however Emory would only accept my 5 on Ap Spanish and none of the other ones since they require higher scores if I had gone to the University of Florida it would have been easier to have credit.
Placement :
A large amount of opportunity is out there in Atlanta you can even find a job at the hospital not sure what the average pay is but I do know there are a wide array of different jobs from medicine to doing laundry.
Internship :
Yes they host job fairs every year and it's up to you how much you would like to work and your class schedule they just ask that you dress professionally, bring your resume and engage with those at the fair.
Fees :
Tuition is a lot like almost 60 thousand there are many fees for example transcript fee, gym fee, you also have to pay for dorms and all of that stuff I didn't take any loans out because I didn't need them right now but I did get two scholarships and a lot of grant money from the school and FAFSA which is government money.
Faculty :
The student-faculty ratio is the small and perfect size for those wanting a close-knit community they do have some lecture halls but most of them are small classrooms
Hostel :
On-campus is mandatory for the first year. No car meals are included for first-year students everyone must buy one everything is close by and they have a bus to take you to different places called the shuttle.
