It's close to my hometown. I also like the programs it offers and it has a pretty campus. I knew kids who went there before me too. So that really pulled me in. There are good professors too and others.
Course Curriculum
It's a little sub-standard. Some majors are really hard and some are too easy. Some are easy at first then really hard then not consistent.
Exams
ACT, SAT. That's all I took. I don't know what you mean by university-level exam. That's all I took.
Placement
It's not that great. I've seen classmates struggle to get internships and after college jobs which makes nervous when I look for my job when I graduate.
Internship
We are required to have one but they don't provide one. There is an on-campus design agency but it doesn't always count as internship credit.
Events
Black squirrel fest- music, food, campus clubs attend. Blastoff- first weekend of the semester all the clubs go on the plaza. Flashperk events- you can go to events and get points to earn prizes. Ice skating-free ice skating sometimes.
Fees
There are a lot of fees. Tuition, parking pass, if you live on campus there are residence fees and meal plan.
Scholarship
Yes, I have loans and two internal scholarships. I wish I didn't have loans but I do. The scholarships are nice.
Examination Structure
The exams are usually for certain classes. All classes are more Robert based or discussion-based. The class that have exams usually only have a few exams.
Hostel
I like living off-campus better. I live in a house close to campus with a friend. I have my own room, a porch, a kitchen, a living room, a dining room, one and a half bathrooms, and a sunroom so a lot of space.
