The program is very research oriented. It has a 8 week schedule instead of the 16 weeks like other universities. It allows students to pick the electives based on the certification they want so along with a Masters degree they get an additional certification when they graduate. They have a capstone requirement which has 4 options through which you graduate ( A free university sponsored exam, HR certification, thesis or internship report).
Course Curriculum :
I think they are very discussion oriented. You learn because you do it! The style is focused not just on lectures but very participative discussions.
Exams :
IELTS 7.5 & higher. Online application form Transcripts 3 recommendation letters Statement of goals Resume Academic writing sample: Only submit if waiving writing prerequisite course. See HRD website for details.
Placement :
There are a lot of networking events but not so much for Human Resources. I think it’s not entirely the university’s fault, that has more to do with the United States work authorization laws.
Events :
The graduate students had no option of staying on campus we had to rent a house close by which I think is not that great because we do not get to experience the actual campus life. That said a very beautiful campus that you would love to see every single day. It is huge so many trees flowers filled with nature, it’s just very beautiful to look at.
Scholarship :
No
Faculty :
All the professors were very friendly and informative. Each one of them was passionate about the subject they were teaching. There has never been a time I could not reach a professor if I had additional questions or concerns regarding an assignment.
Hostel :
The only thing I did not like was the accommodation. They are trying to allow graduate students at least international graduate students on campus housing but when I was studying that we had to rent a place close by.
