They will also receive a Verification Statement of completion and are eligible to take the national registration examination for dietitians administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.Course credit earned during the dietetic internship can be applied toward a Master of Medical Nutrition degree for students who pursue that option.
