The Graduate School of Business & Public Policy is a distinctive academic institution uniquely positioned to help improve defense business practices and administration. GSBPP robust research program supports graduate education by informing faculty members about recent developments in their academic fields, as well as recent defense and national security sector applications. Our instruction prepares the next generation of defense sector leaders to analyze and think critically so that they can effectively manage organizations, resources, people, and programs in complex, sometimes life-threatening environments.
Current graduate students include U.S. and allied military officers, defense sector civilians from all service branches, and Federal Government contractors. After graduating from GSBPP, alumni fill jobs managing the business of defense, setting defense policy, and providing defense sector administration. We prepare our students through a variety of resident and distributed learning programs in several different graduate degree programs. All of our instructional programs are designed with a strong national security orientation and strike a delicate balance between business management and public policy/public administration.
