Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University widely known as SKNAU was established in September 2013 under the government of Rajasthan. The university is the 2nd largest agriculture university of Rajasthan state which covers 1/6th of the geographical area with a territorial jurisdiction of 8 districts.

SKNAU B.Sc. Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent exam from Rajasthan or any recognized board or the candidate must have passed diploma program after 10th.
- To be eligible for the entrance exam, the candidate must be 18 years or above in age.
- It is mandatory to score 50% aggregate marks in higher secondary boards with subjects related to science/agriculture fields such as PCA/PCM/ABC/PCB etc.
- 5% relaxation of marks is given to the reserved category students.

SKNAU M.Sc. Eligibility Criteria
- A candidate must have scored at least 55% marks or equivalent OGPA from ICAR accredited universities.
- Relaxation of 5% marks is given to the candidates under SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS categories.
- Candidates who have appeared for any qualifying exam and whose results have not been declared yet are allowed to appear for the exam but the result are necessary at the time of admission.

SKNAU Scholarships
SKNAU provides scholarships to the bright students and reserved category students through various scholarship schemes.
- University merit scholarships: The eligibility of merit scholarship is a minimum of 7.00 OGPA and must be a bonafide resident of Rajasthan. Scholarship of INR 800 per month is given to the top 2 students of MSC (Ag) in each subject in 1st semester and scholarship of INR 1200 is provided to the top 2 students at the ph.D. level on the basis of performance.
- Post metric scholarship to reserved category: This scholarship is awarded to SC/ST/OBC/minorities/PH students by the government of Rajasthan.
- National talent scholarship: The scholarship is awarded by ICAR to the students who are non-residents of Rajasthan and are admitted through JET.
- Scholarship for girls: The scholarship of INR 10000 per annum to students of BSC (Hons) and MSC (Ag) and INR 15000 is awarded to ph.D. girls by the department of Agriculture, Government of Rajasthan.
- Junior research fellowship (JRF) and senior research fellowship (SRF): The scholarship is awarded by ICAR to those students who are admitted through ICAR in postgraduate and doctoral programs.
- Thesis contingency grant: Scholarship of INR 500 and INR 800 is given to MSC (Ag) and Ph.D. students respectively.
