Aspirants seeking admission to 5 year Full-time Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] + Master of Science [M.Sc] should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Eligibility

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum first division/60% marks (55% for Reserved categories) or equivalent grade in both 10 and 10+2 levels are eligible for admission.
Those who have appeared in 10+2 exams can also apply.

Selection Criteria

For admission in the program, the eligible candidates will have to appear for UG Pre-Interview Screening Test, UPST.
UPST is a computer based test consisting of multiple-choice questions in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and either of Computer Science or Biological Science.
The test will be held in various cities across India.
Those who qualify the test are called for an interview and top 60 students will be selected.
KVPY Fellows and candidates scoring a rank in JEE Main or NEET up to 8000 will be called for the Interview round directly. Such candidates are exempted from UPST and a total of 10 seats are available for them.
