OSOU offers MA in nine specializations along with M.Com. and M.Sc. courses. Under M.A. and M.Com. courses, the minimum qualification a candidate must have is, the candidate should be a graduate or should have passed +3 in any discipline. For M.Sc., the candidate should have done B.Sc./ B.Tech./ B.E. or BCA. The selection under all the masters’ courses will be depended on the marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying degree.

Odisha State Open University also offers post graduate diploma, diploma and certificate courses under Rural Development and Rural Management specializations.
