As of July 2021, IIIT Trichy operates entirely from its permanent campus in Sethurapatti, Tiruchirappalli. The permanent campus of IIITT is located near Sethurappatti, Tiruchirappalli, on roughly 62 acres of land. The campus of IIIT Trichy is located 15 kilometres from Tiruchirappalli Junction. IIIT Trichy is located 10 kilometres from Viralimalai Town, Pudukkottai District, on the Tiruchirappalli-Madurai route. The campus is fully operational via its permanent campus.
