Bachelor of Technology in Dairy or B. Tech. Dairy Technology as it is famously known among the masses is a 4 year long undergraduate engineering degree course which involves training the admitted students extensively in the production, processing and quality control of dairy related products. The minimum eligibility requisite is 10+2 or an equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their subjects.
B. Tech. in Dairy technology is being offered by numerous private and government colleges/universities. During the four long years of the course, the students will have to give theory exams, gain practical related knowledge required for the field and undergo training and submit a report for the same towards the end of the course.
Tuition fee for B. Tech. Dairy Technology ranges from 2 to 5 lakhs INR in various institutes. It may exceed this bracket in some private universities.
