Sandip University Ph.D Eligibility Criteria

The PhD program at Sandip University, Nasik is primarily designed for candidates to solve real-time industrial, local, regional, national and international issues / problems.

• Candidates for admission in PhD, the program will have a postgraduate degree from a recognized university that has at least 55% marks on the UGC-point scale or an equivalent grade 'B' or an equivalent grade on the point scale wherever the grading system will be followed.
• Candidates who have cleared MPhil. Courses with at least 55% marks work in UGC 7-point scale or equivalent grade 'B' or equivalent grade on point scale wherever grading system is followed and MPhil is completed successfully.

Note : For persons included in SC / ST / OBC (with non-creamy layer) / NT / SBC / PWD, relaxation of 55% to 50%, or 5% of the equivalent grade relaxation mark may be allowed.

Admission to the PhD program is done on the basis of the scores obtained by the SUNPET (Sun PhD. Entrance Test) candidates.

How to apply?

• The SUNPET application form will be available on the official website.
• Candidates need to register with their respective valid email IDs and contact numbers.
• All other necessary details such as educational and personal details should be uploaded in the form by the applicant.
• After successfully submitting the duly filled form to the University Office, the candidates will have to take part in the SUNPET entrance examination.
• Candidate has to pay registration fee while filling application form of INR 750 for SC / ST / Women and INR 1500 other general category.

NOTE : Please confirm your eligibility before applying for the program. Candidates will not be reimbursed once the application processing fee is paid, in any case if they are deemed ineligible for the programme applied.
