Swami Vivekanand University, Sagar Admission 2024: Courses, Fees, Eligibility

Swami Vivekanand University offers B.A. in 6 specializations, B.Tech in 11 specializations, B.Sc. in 12 specializations, B. Com, B.C.A, BBA, B.A. LL.B., BPA, BFA, B.Pharm., B.J.M.C., B.M.L.T., LL.B., B.Lib.I.Sc., B.Ed., and B.P.Ed. degree courses at the undergraduate level. 

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate to be eligible to apply for these programs. For B.Tech, B.Sc., B.M.L.T., and B.Pharm. program, they must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Biology or Agriculture as subjects from a recognized board to be eligible to apply. 

For LL.B., B.P.Ed. and B.Ed course, they should have a Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate branch or equivalent with not less than 50% marks. Selection is done on the basis of marks scored in CET conducted by the university for different courses. Admission to B.Ed. and B.P.Ed. will be done on the basis of TET score conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Government.

Key Points:

• All SC/ST candidates are eligible for the relaxation of 5%.
• For Hotel Management, Law, Journalism, and Designing courses, candidates should have English as a compulsory subject in 10+2.
• For B. Com., they must have Mathematics/Statistics/Accounts/Economics as a compulsory subject.
• Applicants applying for B.P.Ed. course must have Physical Education as a subject in Class XII or at Graduation level.
• Students appearing in the final year examination are eligible to apply.

Swami Vivekanand University offers M.A. in 11 specializations, M.Tech in 11 specializations, M.Sc. in 11 specializations, M. Com, M.C.A, MBA, MPA, MSW, M.Pharm., M.J.M.C., Master of Public Health, M.Lib.I.Sc., and M.P.Ed. degree courses at the undergraduate level. For M.Tech degree courses, candidates must have a B.Tech/B.E. degree in the concerned branch with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognised University.

For MBA courses, they must have graduation/bachelors degree in the relevant subject(s) obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities. Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in the concerned subject with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognised University to be eligible for all the other program.

Admission to all the M.Tech and MBA is done on the basis of GATE and CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CET respectively. For all other courses, CET(Common Entrance Test) is conducted by the University. Candidates are selected for admission on the basis of marks scored in the entrance examination and/or Group Discussion and Personal Interview(GDPI) conducted by the university for different courses.

Swami Vivekanand University, Sagar also offers Certification, Diploma, and Post Graduate Diploma courses in various fields. Applicants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate to be eligible to apply for Diploma Courses.

For Certification and Post Graduate Diploma courses, candidates must have graduation/bachelors degree in the relevant subject (s) or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities in India. Selection of all the programs is done on the basis of the marks scored in the entrance examination (CET).
