M.Sc. Anthropology is a postgraduate course in the study of human societies, cultures and their evolution. A candidate has to be a B.Sc/B.A. graduate in Anthropology/ Sociology/History/Zoology from a recognised university in order to be eligible for this course. 

M.Sc.Anthropology is a 2 year program which specializes in four branches: Cultural/ Social Anthropology, Biological Anthropology, Archaeological Anthropology and Linguistic Anthropology.The mode of admission is mostly through an Entrance Examination.
