  • Candidates should hold a Master’s Degree in English or allied subjects from a recognized institute.
  • Minimum aggregate of 55% marks or equivalent grade B in the UGC 7 point scale or equivalent in the Master’s Degree.
  • In the case of reserved category SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates, a relaxation of 5% marks or equivalent grade is given as per UGC guidelines.
  • Candidates with NET JRF / NET LS are exempted from appearing for university conducted entrance tests but need to appear for the personal interview round.
