Course Description

Application for admission to the Central University of Himachal Pradesh has to be online through https://cuhimachaladmission.samarth.edu.in/.

The Application process involves the following steps:

Step I: Register at the application portal.

Step II: Complete the online application Form with correct details.

Step III: Upload documents as per specification.

Step IV: Preview and edit the application form

Step V: Pay Application Fee using Debit/ Credit cards or Net banking:

Please note that both undergraduate as well as post-graduate applicants can use one single application for applying to two UG or two PG degrees.

Kashmiri migrant certificate (if applicable).

Eligibility Criteria

A minimum of 50% Marks or an equivalent grade in 10+2 (any science stream) examination of a recognized school board or an equivalent examination by authorized board of state national level.

Admission Guidelines

All applicants seeking admission to BSc (Physics/Honours) shall be required to apply for the said programme of study on a prescribed application form.
Admission shall be made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination of a recognized school board or an equivalent examination by authorized board of state/ national level

Course Details

At the undergraduate level, CUHP conducts B.Sc., B.A., BFA and B.Voc. degrees. Barring the BFA program which is delivered over eight semesters, all the other undergraduate programs are of 6 semester duration. The B.Sc. and B.A. courses requires 140 UG credits for degree completion. BFA program, on the other had requires 192 UG Credit and B.Voc. program needs the candidates to complete 180 UG Credit.

Selection Criteria

CUHP admits undergraduate students on the basis of academic merit in the qualifying examination.

NOTE:

The fee payable by the students is fixed by the Executive Council on the recommendation of the Academic Council and is notified in the Admission Brochure/Prospectus issued by the University from time to time.

1. An additional fee towards Professional Development Fund shall be chargeable as under:

a) Rs 4000/- per semester from the students admitted to MBA/MBA(TT)/MSW/MSc/BSc Hons.

b) Rs 1000/- per semester from the students admitted to all other PG Programmes of Study.

2. Tuition fee for offering audit course and ‘I’ grade will be Rs 100/- per credit.

3. For ‘F’, ‘I’ and audit course, examination fee will be Rs 100/- per credit.

NOTE: For any Programme of Study in Sanskrit, no tuition and admission fee shall be charged.
