Maharishi University Lucknow Admission 2024: Dates, Eligibility, Selection Criteria

Maharishi University of Information Technology offers B.Tech and B.Tech LTE course of 4 and 3-years duration with the intake of 7 specializations, B.Sc. with 10 specializations, along with BCA, BBA, and B.Com program of 3-years duration.

Candidates who have completed 10+2 in PCM with minimum 45% marks (minimum 40% for the reserved category) are considered eligible to join B.Tech program. The minimum eligibility requirement for admission to B.Tech LTE course is candidates must have passed Diploma or BSc in PCM, IT, CS with minimum 45% marks (minimum 40% for the reserved category).

Those students who have passed 10+2 in any discipline with minimum 45% marks (minimum 40% for the reserved category) are eligible to join BBA, B.Sc. course. Applicants who have completed HSC in Commerce with minimum 35% marks (minimum 33% for the reserved category) are eligible to join B.Com program. Applicants who have passed 10+2 with Mathematics as compulsory subject with minimum 50% marks (minimum 45% for the reserved category) are eligible to join BCA course.

Admission to each UG program is given on the basis of the candidate’s marks obtained in the entrance test followed by interview conducted by the University.

Maharishi University of Information Technology runs M.Tech (Regular and Part-time) program with 7 specializations, MBA course with 5 disciplines, MBA LTE, and MBA Executive course of 2-years duration each, M.Com, MCA, MCA LTE program and M.Sc. program of 2-years duration with 13 specializations.

Applicants who have passed B.Tech/ BE or M.Sc. in relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks with valid GATE score is considered eligible to get admission to the M.Tech program. Those who have passed Graduation with minimum 50% marks (minimum 45% for the reserved category) are eligible to get admission to MBA course.

Applicants who have passed B.Com with minimum 50% marks (minimum 45% for the reserved category) are eligible to join M.Com course. To get admission to MCA course candidates must have completed Graduation in relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks (minimum 45% for the reserved category) and have studied Mathematics at 10+2 level.

Candidates who have passed B.Sc. in relevant specializations with minimum 45% marks (minimum 50% for the reserved category) are eligible to join MSc program. Admission to any PG program is given on the basis of the entrance test followed by interview conducted by the university.

Maharishi University of Information Technology runs the Ph.D. program of minimum 3-years duration with six specializations. Candidates who have completed 10+2 in respective discipline with minimum 45% marks are considered eligible to get admission to the course.

Admission to the program is given on the basis of the candidate’s marks obtained in the entrance examination and personal interview.

Applicants who have passed Class 10th with minimum 35% marks from a recognized Board are eligible to join Diploma (Regular and Part-time) course. Those who have passed Class 10+2 in PCM & IT with minimum 45% marks (minimum 40% for the reserved category) are eligible to join Diploma LTE (Regular, Part-time, Evening) course.

Admission to the course is given on the basis of the applicant's merit in the entrance test conducted by the university.

Online: Make the payment of the application fee of INR 500 through the online payment gateway.

Offline: Pay the application fee of INR 500 either in cash or through DD favouring “Maharishi University of Information Technology” payable at Lucknow.
