Amity University Mumbai Admission 2024: Dates, Courses, Eligibility Criteria, Selection & Merit List

Amity University offers the B.Tech and B.Arch courses at the UG level. B.Tech is offered in 9 specializations.

Candidates should have completed 10+2 with 60% marks and Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Applicants to the B.Arch course should have completed 10+2 with 50% marks and Mathematics as a compulsory subject. B.Arch applicants must have a valid NATA score.

Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of scores obtained in the Amity JEE and performance in a personal interview. Admission to the B.Arch course is done based on merit in 10+2 examination and performance in an entrance examination conducted by the university, followed by the performance in a personal interview.

Key Points:

• Amity JEE is conducted at the National level by the Amity University.
• It is conducted for a duration of 2 hours and will contain 90 questions.

Amity University, Mumbai Campus also provides B.Sc., Bachelor of Statistics, B.Plan., Bachelor of Interior Design, B.Com., B.A., BCA, B.Voc., B.Des., BBA, BFA, BSW, BT&TM courses in various specializations & B.A. LL.B, BBA LL.B, B.Com LL.B integrated courses at the UG level.

Applications to all the UG courses will be accepted from candidates who have completed their 10+2 studies in the relevant stream with the minimum required marks.

Admission to these UG courses will be done on the basis of scores obtained in the 10+2 examination and on the basis of performance in an entrance test, conducted by the university and on the basis of a personal interview, conducted by the college.

Key Points:

• In aggregate percentage, Physical Education / Fine Arts / Performing Arts / Vocational / non-written subjects will only be considered for respective disciplines.
• Candidates who have appeared for 10+2 examinations and are awaiting results for the same are also eligible to apply for the UG courses.
• Admission to the applicants who are awaiting results for their 10+2 examinations will be granted only if they satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria in the examinations.

Amity University Mumbai offers an MBA program at the PG level in 9 specializations. Candidates who have completed their graduation with 50% marks in any stream are eligible to apply.

Admission to the MBA course will be done on the basis of scores in the CAT / XAT / NMAT / MAT / GMAT and performance in the group discussion and personal interview rounds.

Key Points:

• Preference in admission will be given to engineers for the MBA in Construction Project Management course.
• The GD & PI rounds will be conducted for those students who have cleared the cut offs mentioned in the respective entrance examinations.
• There will be no sectional cut offs considered for the entrance examinations while shortlisting the candidates.

Amity University Mumbai also provides M.Tech in Biotechnology and MCA courses at the PG level. Applicants for M.Tech must have completed B.Tech / B.E. in Biotechnology or the related field to be eligible to apply. Applicants to the MCA course must have completed BCA with Mathematics as a subject in BCA or in 10+2.

Admission to M.Tech and MCA will be done on the basis of merit in the qualifying degree examination and performance in the entrance test and personal interview rounds.

Key Points:

• Candidates who are in their last year of the degree course or have appeared for the final examination of their degree course are also eligible to apply.
• Admission to the students who are awaiting their final examination results for the UG degree will be restricted to them satisfying the eligibility conditions upon receiving the results.

The campus offers  M.Sc., M.A., ME&SD, PG Diploma, M.Des., MFA, MSW, LL.B, LL.M. and M.Voc. courses at the PG level.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with the minimum required marks to be eligible for admission.

Admission to these courses will be done on the basis of scores obtained in an entrance test and performance in a personal interview, both of which will be conducted by Mumbai campus of Amity University.

Key Points:

• Candidates who are in their final year of their Bachelor’s degree or have appeared for the final examination of their Bachelor’s degree and are awaiting results for the same are also eligible to apply for admission.
• Students in their final year of graduation should meet minimum eligibility criteria until last qualifying semester/year and should not have any back paper / essential repeat.

Amity University offers the Ph.D. course at the doctorate level in 9 specializations. The courses can be pursued on a full-time or part-time basis.

Applicants to the Ph.D. course must have a Master’s degree in the relevant field with 55% marks or an equivalent grade point. Applicants to Ph.D. in Law course must have at least 10 years of legal practice or experience in a legal/judicial job.

Admission to Ph.D. will be done on the basis of scores obtained in the Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET), conducted by the university and performance in a personal interview.

Key Points:

• Ph.D. Law applicants must have published professional work or otherwise proven research interest to be considered as eligible.
• Ph.D. Law students will be treated as a Corporate Research Scholar.
• The PET examination will be of 90 minutes duration and will contain 70 questions.
• The eligible candidates will be tested on general knowledge in the first section. The second section will be a program specific section.
• The personal interview will be conducted by the faculty of the University.
