Rayat Bahra Hoshiarpur Campus Admission 2023: Important Dates, Scholarship

Rayat Bahra Hoshiarpur Campus offers B.Tech in five specializations, BBA, BCA, B.Com, BSc (Nursing), Post-Basic Nursing, B.Pharm and B.Ed. program at UG level.

Candidates who have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of these as optional subjects viz. Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, etc with minimum 45% marks (40% for the reserved category) are considered eligible to join B.Tech program. The minimum eligibility requirement for admission to BBA, BCA, and B.Com course is applicants must have passed 10+2 with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC and ST candidates). Those who have passed 10+2 in Medical are eligible to join BSc in nursing program whereas those who hold GNM Diploma Degree are eligible to join Post-Basic Nursing course. Candidates who have passed 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with at least 45% marks (40% for SC and ST candidates) and Mathematics, Biology, Biotechnology, etc any one as an optional subject are eligible to get admission to B.Pharm program. The minimum eligibility requirement for B.Ed. course is candidates must have passed Graduation in any stream.

Admission to any UG level course is given as per the norms of Punjab Govt. However, admission to B.Tech. program is given on the basis of the applicant’s merit in JEE Main. Candidates are admitted to BBA, BCA, B.Pharm, B.Com, BSc in Nursing, Post-Basic Nursing, and B.Ed. course is given on the basis of the past academic merit.

Eligibility Table

Rayat Bahra Hoshiarpur Campus runs M.Tech. in single specialization with total 18 seats, MBA program with the intake of120 students and M.Pharm course with a total number of 18 seats under its PG-level programs.

Candidates who have completed BE or B.Tech program in relevant discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for the reserved category) are considered eligible to join M.Tech program. The minimum eligibility requirement for admission to MBA course is candidates must have completed Graduation in any stream with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC and ST candidates). Those who have completed B.Pharm Degree with not less than 55% marks are considered eligible to get admission to the M.Pharm course.

Admission to M.Tech is given on the basis of GATE scores. Candidates are admitted to the M.Pharm course as per the instruction of the affiliating university but candidates who have qualified GPAT are given preference during admission. The selection of the candidates for admission to MBA course is done through CMAT score.
