Chettinad University is a deemed university offering 2 UG, 5 PG courses in various disciplines. Admission to the MBBS course are through the merit list prepared on the basis of entrance exam conducted by the university.

Chettinad University MBBS Entrance is an all-India paper-pen based medical entrance. Medical aspirants who have completed 17 years of age as on December of the year of admission and those who have passed HSC/CBSE / ISCE in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Botany and Zoology /Biotechnology and English are eligible to apply for Chettinad University MBBS Entrance. This MBBS entrance test for Chettinad University MBBS admission shall consists of subjects of Physics, Chemistry & Biology /Botany and Zoology.

The M.B.B.S. program at Chettinad Hospital & Research Institute is designed to create doctors who are fully qualified, broadly skilled and ready to pursue careers as generalists of specialists. The course offers a strong foundation in basic science with emphasis on early development of clinical and procedural skills.

Eligibility Criteria

• A pass in +2 examination with minimum 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Botany and Zoology/Biotechnology
• 50% aggregate marks in the entrance examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together
• +2 level exam should have been passed in the first attempt
• Candidates who have passed the HSC in Vocational stream are not eligible to apply

Selection Process

Selection will be made on merit based on the marks secured in the All India Level Common Entrance Examination conducted by the University.

Exam Pattern

• The test consists of 180 multiple choice questions in total covering the each of Physics, Chemistry & Biology /Botany and Zoology till +2 level
• The entrance test is 3 hours long in duration

STEP 3 Send the completed application form along with a DD of Rs.1000/- and enclosed documents to the address given below.

Offline method:

STEP 1 Obtain the application form either in person or through post by submitting a DD of Rs.1000/-.
