The scholarship in the form of Tuition Fee Concession will be awarded to the meritorious students at the time of admission and subsequent years for students admitted in Academic Session 2019-20.
At the time of Admission
The scholarship will be admissible to students of UG courses (except Medical, Dental and Ayurveda) on the basis of marks obtained as under :
(a) PCB/M/CS with English as one of the subject OR
(b) Best of four subjects with English as one of the subject.
For calculating percentage for scholarship, the subsidiary subjects i.e. Drawing, Music, Physical Education etc. will not be considered:

For PG Courses, the scholarship will be given in the Faculties of Commerce & Management, Behavioural Sciences, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Allied Health Sciences, Mass Communication & Media Technology, Education, Law, Hotel & Tourism Management, Fashion & Design, Agricultural Sciences and Medicine & Health Sciences (M. Sc., MPHW & MSW) on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in UG course :

The scholarship in the form of Tuition fee concession will be awarded to the relatives of the University’s employees (blood relations only i.e. Son, Daughter, Husband, Wife) for the students admitted during Academic Session 2019-20 as given below :

For sibling cases (one out of two), 35% scholarship or as per the slab mentioned above (whichever is higher) in the form of Tuition Fee Concession will be awarded in all the courses (ug/pg) except Medical, Dental, Nursing, Pharmacy and Ayurveda. For continuation in subsequent years, he/she has to fulfill the conditions mentioned for other students.
The 25% scholarship in the form of Tuition Fee Concession in subsequent years shall be based on the students’ performance in the semesters/annual examinations as the case may be and the same will be paid in the name of the student (Except Medical, Dental and Ayurveda).
For continuation of scholarship in subsequent years, the student shall have to meet the following conditions:
(a) He/she should have passed in all the subjects in first attempt itself.
(b) Should have scored 75% or above marks in aggregate.
(c) Should have 90% or more attendance in all subjects of the course including practical (wherever applicable).
(d) Student is not involved in any act of indiscipline, ragging, eve-teasing etc.
(e) Should have cleared all the dues and paid the whole fee of the course for the particular semester/year.
(f) Should not be receiving any other scholarship from any other Govt./Govt. organization/Institute.
(g) Student must submit the Scholar Project in consultation with their respective Dean/Faculty member to claim the scholarship for subsequent years.
Note : The students will have to apply within one month of the declaration of their result.
The above scholarship in the form of Tuition Fee Concession policy may be submitted to the Vice-Chancellor for approval in anticipation of the approval of Fee Committee, Finance Committee, Board of Management and Governing Body.
