MAKAUT Admission 2024: UG, PG, PhD, Courses, Eligibility, Application Form, Dates

MAKAUT offers a 4 years long B.Tech program via regular mode in two specializations namely, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Information Technology (IT). Admissions to the program are done through the WBJEE entrance examination followed by counseling for final seat allotments. The university also offers B.Tech Lateral entry on the basis of scores obtained in the WBJELET entrance examination.

MAKAUT B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidates seeking admission into the B.Tech program must have completed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as Main subjects. 
• Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% marks or 5.0 CGPA in aggregate. 

MAKAUT B.Tech Selection Criteria 

• Selection to the B.Tech programme is based on the merit lists prepared by the university on the basis of ranks obtained by the candidates in WBJEE entrance exam.
• For lateral entry, candidates should have qualified the WB-JELET entrance exam. 

MAKAUT BTech Cutoff 2023 (Expected)

• Visit the WBJEE official website at wbjee.in
• Click on the link to ‘New Registration' and register yourself there to create a username and password. 
• Candidates who logged out after WBJEE registration 2023 had to log in using their application number and password.
• Now fill in the various personal details like category, domicile, religion, nationality, etc in the WBJEE form 2023.
• Candidates also had to opt for three zones of cities to be allocated as WBJEE exam centres.
• Now click on ‘Submit’.
• Upload the scanned images of required documents in the given format.
• Pay the minimal & non-refundable application fee of INR 500 (INR 400 for the candidates of SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B).
• Take a print out of the filled application form for your future reference. 

MAKAUT offers a 3 years long BCA program at the UG level and charges a fee of INR 1.34 Lakhs for its BCA program. For admissions to the program, candidates are required to appear for the CET examination conducted by the university. The program has a total intake capacity of 30 students each year.

MAKAUT BCA Eligibility Criteria

• For the BCA program, the University accepts 10+2 as a qualifying exam for the admission.
• Students must have mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects in the qualifying exam.

MAKAUT BCA Selection Criteria

• Selection to the program is based on the merit list prepared on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in CET exam.
• Candidates may then appear in the counselling on the dates specified by the college.

MAKAUT offers a 3 years long BBA program in 4 different specializations namely, Business Analytics, Hospital Management, Risk Management and Tourism and Travel Management. The university charges a fee of INR 48,000 for the 1st year of its BBA program.

MAKAUT BBA Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidate must have passed his/her 10+2 in any stream from any recognized board of education. 
• Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% in aggregate. 

MAKAUT BBA Selection Criteria 

• Selection to the program is based on the merit list prepared on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in CET exam.

MAKAUT B.Sc Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidates must have completed their 10+2 in science stream from any recognized board of education. 
• Candidates Must have scored a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate. 

MAKAUT B.Sc Selection Criteria 

• Selection to the program is based on the CET entrance scores.
• Final selection is made after the successful verification of documents and reporting of the students.

The university offers a 2 years long M.Tech program under 11 different specializations and charges a total fee of INR 1.58 lakhs for its M.Tech programme. For admissions to the program, candidates are required to appear for the GATE or WB PGET entrance examination.

MAKAUT MTech Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidates must have passed their bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant discipline. 
• Candidates should have passed their graduation with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.75 CGPA.

MAKAUT MTech Selection Criteria 

• Selection to the program is based on the scores of the PGET or GATE entrance exam.
• Candidates are then required to appear for the CCMT or counseling conducted by the university. 
• Candidates with valid GATE score will be given proportionate weightage of the GATE score.
• Candidates who have appeared / due to appear at the qualifying examinations (BE / B.Tech. / M.Sc. / AMIE Sec A. & B. / AMIIM / AMIETE etc or equivalent) may also apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted if they submit valid proof of their passing the qualifying examination with required percentage of marks at the time of admission.)
• Admission test will be through written test followed by an interview to test the aptitude and analytical abilities, computaional skills, fundamental in relevant basic subjects.

MAKAUT offers a full-time MCA program for a duration of two years. for admissions to the program, candidates are required to appear for the WB JECA entrance examination.

MAKAUT MCA Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidates seeking admission to the MCA program must have completed their BCA from any recognized university or college. 
• Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% marks in their graduation. 

MAKAUT MCA Selection Criteria 

• Selection to the MCA program at MAKAUT is based on the scores of WB JECA entrance exam.
• Also, a candidate has to report to the university on the given time slot for securing an admission seat.

MAKAUT offers a 2 years long MBA program in two specializations, namely, Business Analytics and Hospital Administration. For admissions to the program, candidates are required to appear for the WB JEMAT entrance examination. The university charges a fee of INR 1 Lakh for its MBA program.

MAKAUT MBA Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidates must have completed their bachelor degree in any field and stream via full time.
• Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% marks or 5 CGPA in their graduation. 

MAKAUT MBA Selection Criteria 

• Selection to the MBA program is based on the scores obtained by the candidates in the JEMAT entrance examination conducted by MAKAUT.
• A shortlisted candidate then has to appear for the GD and PI rounds.
• Final selection will be done on the basis of performance in the written test and GD/PI conducted by the university.

MAKAUT PG Diploma Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidates must have passed their graduation in any relevant discipline of Engineering/ Technology or Management or Sciences. 
• Candidates should have scored a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate. 

MAKAUT PG Diploma Selection Criteria 

• Selection to the PG Diploma is based on the merit-lists prepared by the university on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in qualifying examination. 
• The candidates whose names appear in the merit list may then visit the University for counselling and completing the admission process.
