University of Kalyani Ph.D Microbiology: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

• Candidates can download the application form from the university website “www.klyuniv.ac.in”
• Candidates have to submit the application form along with the bank draft of amount Rs. 400/- (for general candidates) and Rs. 200/- (for SC/ST category candidates) drawn in favour of ‘University of Kalyani’ payable at Kalyani, Nadia, West Bengal -741235.
• Candidates have to send the filled in application form at the following address:

The application form must be accompanied by the following enclosures (whichever applicable):

1. Physically challenged candidates are required to submit certificate from a civil surgeon of a government hospital.
2. Caste certificate

Mark sheets of qualifying examinations

Candidate must have passed post graduation in the relevant stream from the recognized University.

Selection of the candidate to the above mentioned courses is done on the basis of Kalyani University Research Eligibility Test (KURET) and interview by the Departmental Research Committee.

The entrance test for M.Phil. programs is held separately for each discipline. Although the pattern of the test also varies according to the specialization, it does test a candidate’s knowledge of research methodologies and the subject of specialization.
