If one wishes to get admission to Jadavpur University in the department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering then GMR 400(approx) is required. One can find the application form by searching WBJEE in Google. It takes 500 rupees as application fees. Form fill-up starts at the end of November or early December.

There was a government entrance exam called JEXPO, and only students whose rank was in the top 200 were eligible to get admission to the Acharya Prafulla Chandra Roy Govt Polytechnic College. You need to pass your Madhyamik exam to be qualified to sit for this exam. You can find the application form for the exam on the govt website on Google. There were no application fees required. The cutoff was a bit low for reservation candidates.
