Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Haridwar is a state-run University that came into existence in 2005. The institution is approved by UGC for conducting diploma, certificate, UG, PG, and doctoral level courses to eligible students. Course	Eligibility
B.A. Shastri	A candidate must have passed higher secondary or 10+2 examinations from a recognised board/university with a minimum 40% marks in aggregate.
B.Ed.	A candidate seeking admission in B.Ed. courses, must have completed graduation with Sanskrit as one of the main subjects from a recognised University.
B.Lib.Sc.	A candidate must have passed Graduation in any stream from a recognised University with minimum 40% marks in aggregate.
B.JMC	A candidate must have passed graduation in any stream with minimum 40% marks in aggregate from a recognized University.
Certificate courses	For seeking admission to different certificate courses, a candidate needs to clear Uttar madhyama or higher secondary examination from a recognized board/university.

Selection Criteria

Admission to all the above-mentioned UG courses will be done on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam.

Admission to the B.Ed. Shiksha Shastri course will be done on the basis of a written entrance test known as the Pre-Shiksha Shastri Test followed by Counseling.
