Bachelor of Computer Applications [BCA] From Sharda University, Greater Noida

Sharda University Admission 2023 for the BCA course is ongoing. Students can apply by visiting the official website of the university. The last date to apply for the application is yet to be announced by the university. The admission is mainly done based on the SUAT entrance test. Candidates need to do slot bookings on the official website. Furthermore, candidates scoring 70% or above marks in the qualifying examination need not apply for the SUAT entrance test.

The institute was established in 1996 and is privately funded under the act of the State Legislature of Uttar Pradesh. The University is located in Greater Noida, Delhi NCR.

BCA is a three-year undergraduate program that aims at studying the fundamentals and comprehensive study of Computer Applications.

Sharda University offers a BCA course in two specializations- Bachelor’s in Computer Applications and BCA in Multimedia and Animation.

For admission into the course, candidates need to pass class 12 from a recognized board/institute. 

Sharda University BCA Eligibility Criteria 2023 

• Indian Citizens along with International Students are equally eligible to pursue the BCA course.

• Indian Citizens must have passed the class 12 board examination from a recognized board with an aggregate percentage of 50 % marks. Along with it, candidates must have studied Mathematics/Statistics/Computer/Information Science as one of the subjects.

• For International Students, candidates must have scored 50% in the qualifying examination along with the prerequisite subjects for admission into the BCA program.

Sharda University BCA Admission Guidelines 

Candidates scoring below 70% marks in the class 12 examination need to sit for the SUAT entrance test. Candidates scoring above 70% marks can take direct admission based on class 12 marks.

How to Apply?

• Register on the Admission portal of Sharda University.
• Candidates after successful registration would be issued a unique ID and password.
• Candidates need to keep the ID and password with themselves as it would be required in the entire admission process.
• Candidates can appear for the SUAT entrance exam and upon selection, candidates need to pay the fees within 15 days of selection. 
• Candidates need to register themselves in the Administrative office or the respective Schools or departments as per the schedule notified by the University.

The BCA program is a total of three years and includes 6 semesters. Sharda University BCA Scholarship

Candidates need to apply online to avail themselves of the various scholarship schemes as per the eligibility criteria of the institute. Candidates are awarded scholarships based on marks scored in the qualifying examination. Candidates achieving 95% or above can avail of a 100% scholarship and likewise, the category and scholarship vary. 

Along with it, candidates who have excelled in sports at the National or State level can get up to 10% to 80% of scholarships in the first year. A 5% scholarship is provided to candidates from defense personnel, paramilitary, military, or Army background.
