MJPRU offers a 3-year full-time BA program in 32 specializations through its affiliated colleges.  The basic eligibility criteria for getting admitted to BA course at MJPRU is that the candidates must have passed 12th examinations from a recognized board of study with at least 45% of marks in aggregate. There is no bar of minimum marks for reserved category students. Seats are reserved as per the UP-State Government/ University norms. MJPRU will soon release the application forms for BA admission 2023. MJPRU BA Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to BA course at the institution must fulfil the basic eligibility criteria mentioned below. 

• Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary Examinations, (i.e.) class 12th examinations with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate from a recognised board of study.
• Final selection will be based on merit in the last qualifying examinations. (5% relaxation applicable for reserved group of candidates)

Admission into BA courses offered by the institution is merit-based and there is no bar set for minimum aggregate marks for reserved category students but others need to fulfil the basic eligibility as said before. A relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination is applicable for SC/ST candidates.

The application form for admissions to BA courses at the University is online. Application process consists of 5 steps listed namely, Registration Process; Filling-up the Form; Uploading Documents; Preview Application Form; and Payment of Application Fee. The detailed steps are given below. 

1. Visit the official website of the University at https://mjpruonline.in/.
2. Click on UG Registration link.
3. Enter the details asked such as Board, Year of Passing 12th, and Roll no.
4. Agree the Declaration shown. Enter the captcha shown and click on ‘Proceed to Form’. A new window with application form will appear on the screen.
5. Fill the application form with necessary details asked such as birth date, gender, religion, details of residence, reservation with your class X marksheet and certificates, contact details, permanent and correspondence address, mobile number, and email address. All the details filled must be correct to avoid rejection of application.
6. Then, upload your self-attested scanned passport size photo without which your application form will be incomplete.
7. After successful completion of application form, user id and password will be sent to candidate’s registered email id.
8. Use the generated ID and password for logging in and previewing the application form submitted by you. In case, your application is incomplete, you can complete it before the last date.
9. Proceed to pay the application fee of INR 100 online using Credit Card/ Debit Card or Net Banking. There are no other options other than online payment. 
10. Print your application form for future needs. After submitting the application, the choice of the college and course will be given. Be sure to check the available choices and their seats. Candidates according to his/her eligibility will be able to choose the course.

MJPRU BA Course Details

Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University offers BA course across 32 below tabulated specializations. 

A typical BA course is divided into 6 semesters. The course structure and syllabus for each BA specialization is different. There are additional Practical exams for some specializations like Physical Education. Practical Marks are also counted at the end of each semester. 

Evaluation process for each BA specialization is different as some specializations have internal and external practical and credits for the same are also added for the final evaluation process. There will be semester examinations containing variety of subjects conducted in a period of three years, making it six terminal examinations totally which will be administered by the university itself. Final merit prepared is the average of scores obtained by candidates in each semester result. Internal assessments are also conducted by the university twice in each semester based on the data sheet of each student.
