Placement is good and faculty is also helpful and always tried best for students
I liked the environment at the campus, the cleanliness, security all are the best things over here.
Some professors are really good at their subjects and one can learn from them
There are restrictions for roaming in our college and making a good bonding with seniors and juniors, and good and nice infrastructure
Night life and the old culture of IIT k is also awesome

Dislike

Grading system was too tough in campus which depends on proffessor.
Courses are tough in mechanical branch so it is tough for student
Faculty are some time very hard to give project and work under him
I also didn't like the penalty system for late message bill payment.
Campus is 15km away from city center and city is also not good.

IIT Kanpur : Overly underrated

I chose this course due to its placement record as it was the best I was getting and as Mechanical is an old branch it's a quite researched and safe field. Faculty faculty-student ratio is good like 1:17.4 . The grading is quite tough and the academic is rigorous. IITK is considered academically the most challenging IIT of all.
