GLA University B.Tech Eligibility Criteria
- Students must have passed 10+2 examinations with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Computer Science with at least 50%(45% marks for SC\ST) marks in the above subjects taken together and 50% (45% for SC\ST) marks overall.
- For B. Tech in Biotechnology, the candidate needs to pass the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics/Biology as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Computer science with at least 50% marks (45% for ST\SC) and 50% marks overall.
- For B. Tech lateral entry, candidates need to pass with at least 50% (45% for SC\ST) in 3 years Diploma recognized by the Board of Technical Education or University in the corresponding branch of Engineering or B.Tech first year with minimum 60% marks.
- For B. Tech in Computer Science, candidates need to pass 10+2 examinations with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Computer Science with at least 60% (55% for SC\ST) and 50% (45% for SC\ST) marks overall.
- For B. Tech in Mechanical engineering, candidates should have passed 10+2 examinations with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Computer Science with at least 50% (45% for SC\ST) marks.
GLA University B. Tech Admission Guidelines
Admission to the course is done through an online entrance test, GLAET. This test is held at 60 centers all over India. The candidates can register for the entrance test either online or offline.
Online Registration Process:
- Candidates can register for the entrance test by visiting the official website of GLA University.
- After successful registration, candidates will be given a unique registration Id and password.
- Candidates need to fill in their personal and academic details such as names, addresses, 10+2 marks, and reservation category carefully
- The application fee for the B.Tech course is INR 500. For online payment credit card/ debit card or net banking may be used. Retain the acknowledgment receipt.
- Download the admit card when released.
Offline Registration Process:
- Candidates may download the registration form from the official website of the University.
- The printout of the form needs to be duly filled and sent in an envelope along with the demand draft of INR 500 as the application fee.
- Candidates' name and unique ID needs to be mentioned on the back of the demand draft.
- On the back side of the envelope, candidates need to mention “Offline GLAET Registration for ‘name of the course’”.
- The envelope needs to be addressed to the admission coordinator.
